Lionel Messi is back in top form following a little dip in February.
The Argentine has bagged 12 La Liga assists this season - six below his highest tally of 18 - recorded in 2010/2011 and 2014/2015.
He could break that record this term.
That will depend on whether the campaign resumes or not.
What makes Lionel Messi stand out among footballing legends is his ability to decide the fate of games even without scoring.
The Argentine went on a four-game goalless run in La Liga between January and February but no one could write him off because he was setting them up.
The Barca captain has now bagged 12 assists in the Spanish top-flight this season. That is just six short of his highest tally (18) which he bagged in the 2010/2011 and 2014/2015 campaigns.
Messi's assist record in 2020 is stunning. He set up six goals from his last six La Liga appearances.
There are still 11 games to go - only 27 matches have been played in the Spanish elite division this term. If he continues with that form, he'd surely improve on his record tally.
That will depend on whether the season resumes, though. The Liga campaign has been postponed until further notice by the RFEF.
Messi and his colleagues are currently spending time in isolation amid the coronavirus crisis.
